This is the first post on my new blog.
After I wrote that sentence, I signed out and closed my browser. Then I came back to write the rest of this.
Why did I stop after one sentence?
I wanted to make sure that everything was working properly, and that I remembered how to use Blogger. This quick check might save a lot of time later on. Enda Tuomey of ADMC explains more:

Thanks Molly, This is good stuff, we have used a blog on WEBCT and that worked well. Like your ideas about controlling content, always a problem at SMC.
